Message analysis records every error, warning and fault in real time. Instead of manual notes or isolated alarm views, you get a centralized view of which alarms occur most frequently, where they occur and how they are related.
Raw data from the control system such as bit arrays are translated into clear events. You can see which 20 % of alarms cause 80 % of stoppages and which warning sequences typically lead to stops.
This is particularly helpful if individual alarms are not very meaningful on their own, but their sequence or combination indicates mechanical, electrical or process-related causes.
We record all controller alarms via the IIoT connector library (S7, OPC UA, Beckhoff and more). An event model assigns them to assets, stations, lines or processes and makes alarm sequences, frequencies and precursors available for analysis.
