StreamPipes: An Apache top-level project from Karlsruhe
Meetup at inovex
On 17.04.2023 a Meetup on the topic "StreamPipes: An Apache top-level project from Karlsruhe " took place at inovex.
In two talks we presented together with Tim Bossenmaier from inovex the latest developments around the open source solution Apache StreamPipes.
In the first talk Dominik Riemer reported about the development of StreamPipes - starting from a research project, the first steps as an open source project to the way into the Apache Incubator and beyond.
The second talk, given by Tim Bossenmaier and Philipp Zehnder, included a technical tour of the latest features of Apache StreamPipes. The main focus was on the recently announced Python support. Philipp and Tim showed several examples of how the Python interface can be used to capture industrial data and develop AI applications with little time as a data science oriented user.
