Best Practices and Tips
Start with a chart and compare its values to known data. Choose a timeline to track changes over time and a table to monitor individual events. Only once the individual analyses are correct should you build a dashboard based on them.
Clearly specify the time period, unit, and asset being analyzed. An automatic update keeps the view current, but it does not replace a review of the most recent event actually received. Evaluate the value of this feature based on whether it helps users more quickly identify what they should investigate or decide on.
