AI made in Baden‑Württemberg: Our review of the Hannover Messe

Hannover Messe 2024 was all about “Energizing a Sustainable Industry” - and we showed that the future of industrial AI is emerging in Baden-Württemberg.

Political tailwind for THE LÄND‑AI​

On the very first day of the trade fair, Minister President Winfried Kretschmann hosted a lunch to discuss the opportunities of AI with selected participants. Together with the managing directors of large industrial companies such as Festo, Schunk and ebm-papst, the state of digitalization and Industry 4.0 in Baden-Württemberg as well as the opportunities and challenges arising from the use of AI were discussed.

Bytefabrik Managing Director Dominik Riemer took part in the event as a representative of Bytefabrik.AI GmbH - his conclusion: “I am impressed by the many initiatives of the companies to integrate AI into their products and perceived a very positive mood for the future and a constructive exchange.”

Dr. Anna Christmann, Member of the German Bundestag and Federal Government Commissioner for the Digital Economy and Start-ups, also took the time to visit our stand. After winning the Gründungspreis+ 2021, we were very pleased with Ms. Christmann's interest in following the path our start-up has taken since then.

  • Live demos: Over 300 trade visitors were able to experience hands-on at our stand how we turn process data into actionable insights in seconds.

  • International visitors: Many conversations with visitors from all over the world show: Our “open source + industrial grade” approach hits the nerve of the times and generates attention.

  • AI Copilot: The premiere of our new product “Manufacturing Analytics Copilot” was exciting and we are thrilled to present a tool for AI-generated data stories that is unique in the trade fair environment and enables manufacturing companies to make significant savings.
